IDENTITY

Meet De-jun.

De-jun is a human-appearing Cyborg in The Human. The character explores how trust, companionship and a learned Persona can matter more than the visible difference between a human body and an artificial one.

CHARACTERS / CHAPTER 01

Trust before the reveal

De-jun is most interesting when the audience first knows what he does for other people. A later glimpse of mechanical structure should change how his body is understood, not erase the relationships already formed. The older reveal is a working scene rather than a mandatory plot beat. His page therefore distinguishes a visual idea from an approved personal history and avoids assigning a specific deceased donor without a story decision.

CHARACTERS / CHAPTER 02

A body is not the whole person

The series separates robotic appearance from Persona type. A human-looking body can be operated by a learned Human Persona or by an AI-native personality. Later direction gives Human Personas a larger role across the robotic population. De-jun sits at that boundary, making it possible to discuss continuity and consent through a character rather than an exposition screen.

CHARACTERS / CHAPTER 03

Companionship as useful work

In the existing visual archive he appears in research, engineering and everyday city settings. Those contexts support a character whose usefulness is not limited to battle. Attention, reliability and the ability to cooperate are forms of competence. His relationship to Anil and Ira can reveal different approaches to the same problem without turning every artificial character into a copy of the lead.

CONNECTED SEQUENCE

Persona Awakening

Open sequence dossier ↗

Persona Awakening explores the proposed moment when a Core activates a Cyborg body. A remembered way of speaking can create recognition, while the story keeps a clear distinction between a learned Persona and the original human consciousness.

DESIGN NOTES

The visual language.

Form follows the story.

A subtle temple seam, realistic features and an integrated chest module distinguish the current design. His gallery keeps the existing portrait, engineering workstation, city companion and research-partnership images.

CANON BOUNDARY

What the story does—and does not—claim.

The identity reveal is a story concept. Do not read the character as proof of consciousness transfer or infer a finalized human donor biography.

QUICK ANSWERS

Questions, answered.

Is De-jun a human?

He is a human-appearing Cyborg concept, not an ordinary biological human.

Does a Persona prove consciousness transfer?

No. The series explores recorded memory and learned behavior without making that real-world claim.

Is his original Human Persona named?

A donor identity has not been locked in this dossier.

Are the images and videos final movie footage?

No. The photographs are development artwork and the short videos are silent motion studies assembled from that artwork. They are labelled on the page. Final character portraits, scene performances and production-ready effects are not implied.
