IDENTITY

Beyond the first impression.

The last-departure concept follows the final vessels escaping Earth as the disaster spreads. It connects the scale of evacuation with the human and artificial personalities deciding whether everyone who can be reached is aboard.

Not everyone leaves at the same moment

The bible distinguishes people who departed earlier from the final ships still at risk. That structure gives the sequence more depth than a single last-second launch. Different groups face different decisions, and the fleet must remain coordinated even while individual routes fail. Exact population and timing figures from older drafts are not locked by this page.

Inside the spectacle

A cockpit exchange, a boarding decision and a family trying to stay together can carry the emotional rhythm of the sequence. Kofi's humor should help people act; Han's orders should reveal what she is trying to protect. The intelligent ship can contribute its own judgment without becoming an all-purpose device that removes every obstacle.

The scene continues after departure

Reaching space is not the end of an evacuation. Transfer, care and arrival remain part of the journey. The related Mars and rescue-shuttle pages follow those consequences. The website's short motion study is an editorial use of concept artwork, with no claim that it is an official trailer excerpt or a finished production shot.

DESIGN NOTES

The visual language.

Form follows the story.

A massive carrier, a readable boarding scale and a threatened horizon. Interior sound and restrained radio exchange can carry tension more effectively than constant narration.

CANON BOUNDARY

What the story does—and does not—claim.

A concept sequence, not an extract from a completed movie. Detailed passenger numbers and final dialogue remain provisional.

QUICK ANSWERS

Questions, answered.

Does everyone wait for the final ship?

No. The story direction includes earlier departures and a smaller set of final ships.

Are the old countdown numbers final?

No. Exact timing remains development material.

What kind of video is shown here?

A labeled artwork-based concept animatic, not finished movie footage.

Are the images and videos final movie footage?

No. The photographs are development artwork and the short videos are silent motion studies assembled from that artwork. They are labelled on the page. Final character portraits, scene performances and production-ready effects are not implied.
