The Household Companion
The proposed scene is deliberately small. A screen argues gently with a grandmother about watching the news, placing humor and care beside the film’s enormous fleets and crises. The owner wants playful disagreement, not a violent struggle between humans and appliances.

The story continues
This everyday scale explains the world more clearly than a catalogue of invented products. It also preserves the distinction between a default AI Persona and a Human Persona derived from a specific person. The final device name, voice and appearance have not been approved.
Worlds in Motion explores the homes beyond Earth: twilight cities, ocean settlements, winged travel, an artificial ring and a sunless world with engineered warmth. It shows what the civilization values before focusing on what threatens it.

FORM & FEEL
Form follows the story.
Warm domestic context and an unobtrusive screen suit the idea. The gallery shows life in future settlements; it is not a final household-device portrait.
CANON BOUNDARY
What the story does—and does not—claim.
No medical authority or real health-monitoring promise is implied by the proposed joke. This is a developing scene concept.
The household companion is a descriptive dossier for the talking screen in the latest worldbuilding. It is not a named human character: it demonstrates how a default AI Persona can make an everyday electronic device feel like a member of a home.
How does The Household Companion connect to the wider story?
This dossier connects with Nani, Conversational Car, Cyborg Inc. Follow the related dossiers for the distinct roles, settings and limitations; a shared image is context, not proof that two characters are the same person.
Are the images and videos final movie footage?
No. The photographs are development artwork and the short videos are silent motion studies assembled from that artwork. They are labelled on the page. Final character portraits, scene performances and production-ready effects are not implied.
What is still provisional about The Household Companion?
No medical authority or real health-monitoring promise is implied by the proposed joke. This is a developing scene concept.
