Retro Skin is a proposed Orvaan surface treatment that challenges an initial human attack. Its narrative role is to force a change in assumptions rather than let the first familiar weapon solve the conflict.

The first answer is not enough.
Explore the story through its existing artwork. These visual references are development material, not a final shot sequence.

TECHNOLOGY / CHAPTER 01
A failure that teaches something
A useful defensive concept produces information when it defeats an attack. The human characters should be able to observe what happened and change their understanding. Retro Skin belongs to that kind of story design: the obstacle is formidable, but not unknowable. A failed attempt can therefore advance the plot rather than repeat the same explosion.

TECHNOLOGY / CHAPTER 02
Specific rather than invulnerable
The bible associates the idea with returning directed light toward its source. The site does not turn that brief concept into a perfected material or claim it defeats every weapon. Angle, surface condition and a real operational design would matter to a completed treatment. Those details remain for development and review.

TECHNOLOGY / CHAPTER 03
Part of an enemy design language
The concept can influence how a ship's surfaces and damage are shown. It should not be confused with the approved mineral-like appearance of a character's face. The current gallery is fleet and environment context, and the interactive alien model remains a silhouette study rather than proof of a functioning defense.
The first-contact thread connects the attacks with the Orvaan civilization. Their appearance, ships and threat-first doctrine should become visible as a society with decisions and internal roles, not only as an unseen force.

MOTION STUDY
Let the world move.
Slow pans, scale and transitions assembled from existing artwork. Native controls keep playback in your hands.
ARTWORK MOTION STUDY · 12 SECONDS · SILENT · NOT FINAL FILM FOOTAGE
Optional website score, played only by you. This is separate from the silent motion study and is not a final film sound mix.

A different perspective.
INTERACTIVE STUDY · ALIEN CONCEPT
Interactive concept model loads when this section enters view. The artwork and all story text remain available without 3D.
Schematic alien concept used to explore scale and form. It is not a production-ready asset, a portrait, a physically accurate simulation or a unique final model of Retro Skin. Drag gently; vertical touch scrolling remains available.
Three actual renders of the website inspection model. Shared form studies are not presented as unique finalized hulls or astronomical maps.
DESIGN NOTES
The visual language.
FORM & FEEL
Form follows the story.
Faceted dark armor and controlled amber reflections connect the surface to the approved Orvaan visual mood. Detail and final panel geometry are not production-locked.
CANON BOUNDARY
What the story does—and does not—claim.
Not an all-purpose invulnerability system. No engineering recipe or quantified weapon performance is provided.
It creates a specific obstacle that humanity must learn to understand.
Are the images and videos final movie footage?
No. The photographs are development artwork and the short videos are silent motion studies assembled from that artwork. They are labelled on the page. Final character portraits, scene performances and production-ready effects are not implied.
