Pocket Gate is a proposed application of the same speculative Gate premise used by The Span. In the developing climax it gives humanity a way to redirect dangerous material with a controlled destination rather than simply copying the enemy’s destructive method.

TECHNOLOGY / CHAPTER 01
The important verb is stop
The human breakthrough matters because it changes the available choices. The enemy's ability to threaten does not automatically include the human capacity to halt a catastrophe. That contrast supports the story's theme of restraint. The exact sequence remains development material, but its moral purpose is clear: control can be more powerful than escalation.

TECHNOLOGY / CHAPTER 02
Balance is part of the drama
The bible proposes that a Gate's use has a mass-and-motion accounting cost. The Foundry appears in a later role draft as part of that problem. These are fictional mechanisms requiring continued development, not settled real-world engineering. The page keeps the cost visible so the technology cannot quietly become an unlimited solution to every future scene.

TECHNOLOGY / CHAPTER 03
The later limit replaces the earlier scale
Older drafts contemplated moving entire planets. The later owner decision narrows the climax to large rocks, up to a hundred kilometres, with planetary fear remaining dialogue rather than literal planet transport. This dossier follows the later decision. A visual effect should not reintroduce a rejected story rule simply because a larger object looks impressive.
The Countermove is the developing climax’s change of direction: humanity learns not only to threaten with powerful technology, but to control the outcome and leave room for surrender. The intended resolution is not the destruction of the Orvaan worlds.

MOTION STUDY
Let the world move.
Slow pans, scale and transitions assembled from existing artwork. Native controls keep playback in your hands.
ARTWORK MOTION STUDY · 12 SECONDS · SILENT · NOT FINAL FILM FOOTAGE
Optional website score, played only by you. This is separate from the silent motion study and is not a final film sound mix.

INTERACTIVE STUDY · ARRAY CONCEPT
Interactive concept model loads when this section enters view. The artwork and all story text remain available without 3D.
Schematic array concept used to explore scale and form. It is not a production-ready asset, a portrait, a physically accurate simulation or a unique final model of Pocket Gate. Drag gently; vertical touch scrolling remains available.
Three actual renders of the website inspection model. Shared form studies are not presented as unique finalized hulls or astronomical maps.

FORM & FEEL
Form follows the story.
Use sparse trajectories, a clearly bounded aperture and an unmistakable destination. The website’s motion is a diagram of the idea, not an operational model.
CANON BOUNDARY
What the story does—and does not—claim.
No buildable device, real engineering specification or planet-moving capability is claimed. The precise climax contains unresolved screenplay choices.
Does it move whole planets in the approved direction?
No. The later decision limits the threat scale to large rocks rather than complete planets.
Is it independent of The Span's rules?
No. It belongs to the same speculative Gate premise.
Is the exact mechanism finalized?
No. The development notes establish constraints, not a completed engineering design.
Are the images and videos final movie footage?
No. The photographs are development artwork and the short videos are silent motion studies assembled from that artwork. They are labelled on the page. Final character portraits, scene performances and production-ready effects are not implied.
