The opening takes place after Earth’s catastrophe. Cyborg figures among the ruins initially look threatening, then their rescue work changes the meaning of the image. The approved direction makes AI an ally, not the cause of the disaster.

Let the audience form a question
The opening does not need to explain the entire disaster immediately. Dust, scale and the silhouette of a machine can create uncertainty. The important distinction is that this is an intentional dramatic question, not the site's factual description of an AI war. The answer is given through purposeful action: the machines search, protect and recover.

From scale to attention
A wide image of devastation should eventually lead to a specific act. A search movement or an offered hand gives the sequence a human-scale meaning. Keeper-7 is the natural character reference for that transition. Exact shots, camera movement and final sound remain production-development work, not completed footage.

What the website sequence represents
The moving images accompanying this dossier are editorial concept animatics made from existing artwork. They are labeled as such and are not presented as finished movie clips. Their purpose is to explore pacing and atmosphere while keeping the distinction between a website motion study and a film production asset visible.
This sequence connects character, environment and technology. Explore the linked dossiers below for the individual responsibilities and story boundaries behind the visual moment.

MOTION STUDY
Let the world move.
Slow pans, scale and transitions assembled from existing artwork. Native controls keep playback in your hands.
ARTWORK MOTION STUDY · 12 SECONDS · SILENT · NOT FINAL FILM FOOTAGE
Optional website score, played only by you. This is separate from the silent motion study and is not a final film sound mix.
INTERACTIVE 3D
A different perspective.
INTERACTIVE STUDY · CORE CONCEPT
Interactive concept model loads when this section enters view. The artwork and all story text remain available without 3D.
Schematic core concept used to explore scale and form. It is not a production-ready asset, a portrait, a physically accurate simulation or a unique final model of Ash & Rescue. Drag gently; vertical touch scrolling remains available.
DESIGN NOTES
The visual language.
FORM & FEEL
Form follows the story.
Dust, damaged architecture and small acts of care. Sound should belong to people, interiors and the intended score, not unexplained explosions in empty space.
CANON BOUNDARY
What the story does—and does not—claim.
Avoid implying that the robots destroyed Earth. Final victims, dialogue and shot timing are not approved.
No. The approved reveal identifies them as rescuers and recovery workers.
Does this scene happen before the impact?
No. The opening is set in its aftermath.
Is the embedded video a finished movie scene?
No. It is a clearly labeled concept animatic.
Are the images and videos final movie footage?
No. The photographs are development artwork and the short videos are silent motion studies assembled from that artwork. They are labelled on the page. Final character portraits, scene performances and production-ready effects are not implied.
