The Reach is the working name for the Orvaan asteroid-redirection system. The development notes connect its imagery to remote illumination and surface ablation, then expand that idea to an enormous fictional scale.

TECHNOLOGY / CHAPTER 01
The weapon is larger than the projectile
The bible's proposal moves the explanation away from a small device buried inside an asteroid. It imagines remote infrastructure acting on an object from far away. That makes the threat a product of a civilization's long planning rather than a last-minute mechanical surprise. Exact array geometry and performance values are not invented on this page.

TECHNOLOGY / CHAPTER 02
Delay changes responsibility
A distant action can have consequences long after the decision was made. The proposed mechanism uses that delay to make the enemy's power unsettling and to support the later contrast with humanity's ability to stop a threat. It also provides the story with an image of technology whose purpose might change after conflict. Those scene details remain drafts.

TECHNOLOGY / CHAPTER 03
A fictional system, not a practical claim
The Reach borrows a physical vocabulary, but its narrative scale and execution are speculative. The website does not certify the older research notes as a complete engineering proof. It separates the approved dramatic capability from the proposed explanation so later scientific review can improve the mechanism without erasing the story's central conflict.
The first-contact thread connects the attacks with the Orvaan civilization. Their appearance, ships and threat-first doctrine should become visible as a society with decisions and internal roles, not only as an unseen force.

INTERACTIVE STUDY · ARRAY CONCEPT
Interactive concept model loads when this section enters view. The artwork and all story text remain available without 3D.
Schematic array concept used to explore scale and form. It is not a production-ready asset, a portrait, a physically accurate simulation or a unique final model of The Reach. Drag gently; vertical touch scrolling remains available.
Three actual renders of the website inspection model. Shared form studies are not presented as unique finalized hulls or astronomical maps.
DESIGN NOTES
The visual language.
FORM & FEEL
Form follows the story.
Mirror fields, distant stellar light and the absence of a conventional gun distinguish the concept. In vacuum, interface trajectory lines should not be mistaken for visible laser beams.
CANON BOUNDARY
What the story does—and does not—claim.
This page explains a fictional narrative function, not instructions, targeting data or a design for an asteroid weapon. The enormous scale is not demonstrated technology.
The approved enemy direction says the influence is remote, without a machine inside the rock.
Is The Reach a real deployed system?
No. It is fictional development material.
Is the exact mechanism approved?
The enemy capability is established; the detailed implementation remains a proposal.
Are the images and videos final movie footage?
No. The photographs are development artwork and the short videos are silent motion studies assembled from that artwork. They are labelled on the page. Final character portraits, scene performances and production-ready effects are not implied.
