IDENTITY

Beyond the first impression.

The Human imagines Proxima b as a twilight home with black-leaved forests and golden cities. Its schools, gardens and families show what humanity has learned to build beyond the Solar System.

WORLDS & HABITATS / CHAPTER 01

Show life before showing its loss

Proxima's role is to make the future attractive in a human sense. A child going to school, a meal shared after work or a garden cared for by machines can carry more meaning than a city seen only from orbit. The dark vegetation and twilight palette are creative development choices, not evidence that the real planet has forests or settlements.

WORLDS & HABITATS / CHAPTER 02

Learning as a daily habit

The proposed classroom scene asks why people in earlier eras fought over resources and status. Its purpose is not to make the future flawless, but to show a society that has learned to cooperate. The teacher and students give the story's central advantage—rapid learning—a place in ordinary life before it becomes a military necessity.

WORLDS & HABITATS / CHAPTER 03

Connected, not instantly adjacent

The approved Gate concept connects distant systems through infrastructure whose far end had to be transported first. Proxima therefore belongs to a network built over a long history. The source's travel figures are fictional engineering assumptions, not a current travel service or a claim that wormholes have been built. That history makes the network feel earned rather than magically available wherever a scene needs it.

Worlds in Motion

Open sequence dossier ↗

Worlds in Motion explores the homes beyond Earth: twilight cities, ocean settlements, winged travel, an artificial ring and a sunless world with engineered warmth. It shows what the civilization values before focusing on what threatens it.

DESIGN NOTES

The visual language.

Form follows the story.

Copper twilight, dark foliage, open terraces and a low sun distinguish this world from the blue ocean cities and the interior horizon of Haven. Existing world artwork and layered-scene studies remain visual development.

CANON BOUNDARY

What the story does—and does not—claim.

The settlement and ecology are fictional. The Span is speculative technology inside the story, not established real-world engineering.

QUICK ANSWERS

Questions, answered.

Are the cities and forests real discoveries?

No. They are the film's fictional treatment of the Proxima setting.

Why is a school important here?

It shows the values and habits of learning that the wider story is defending.

Can characters instantly open a Gate anywhere?

No. The approved fiction requires the other Gate mouth to have been transported to its destination.

Are the images and videos final movie footage?

No. The photographs are development artwork and the short videos are silent motion studies assembled from that artwork. They are labelled on the page. Final character portraits, scene performances and production-ready effects are not implied.
